Why did Parul Remove her Tattoo?
TV actress Parul Chauhan whom you see regularly in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain as Swarna recently had removed one of her tattoos. She loves to ink her body as they represent her personality and preference in a better way. And that is the reason why she inked her back in 2008. She had got a tattoo of Gayatri Mantra. However, she has to remove it. Parul said that her mother informed her that Gayatri Mantra is something that is very much sacred and it is definitely not something to be inked on anyone’s body. After learning this from her mother, Parul decided to erase it because she didn’t want to hurt or disrespect the belief of her mom. She further added that it will need few more sessions because the tattoo has not gone completely.

This is not only the ink that Parul has rather she has still two more tattoos left on her body. She also plans to get some more in the recent future. She said that after the serial Bidaai in November, 2010, she got an angel tattoo on her thigh. In addition to this, she also has a feather of a peacock on the right side of her navel. Parul even stated that the angel tattoo has a star at the same time because she believes that like a star, life shines always no matter what the situation is. And the peacock feather denotes peace.
Parul has some plans of getting tattooed again. This time, she wants to get two new tattoos on her hip and the other one on her neck.
