As a result, these days people find manifold choices of transport such as trains, cars, aero plane and ships that people always use to go from one place to another. Among all of these choices of transport, the aero plane is certainly the one that has modified the lives of people completely. And this is the reason why airplane has become the first preference of people when it comes to going anywhere. Rajasthan’s Kota has got direct flight options to Jaipur.
Air Connectivity between Kota and Jaipur:
It is definitely more than good news especially for the travelers who visit Rajasthan frequently. Vasundhara Raje Scindia, the chief minister of Rajasthan inaugurated the direct commercial airplane service between Jaipur, the state capital, and Kota, popularly known as a coaching capital of the country. Chief Minister tweeted in her Twitter handle: “Possibilities beyond skies! After connecting Udaipur & Bikaner, flagged off Kota- Jaipur flight at #Kota airport today. #ConnectingRajasthan.” The 9-seater flight will take 45 minutes and it will cost Rs 2499 per person and will be available from monad to Saturday. The Rajasthan government has also thought about a connection from Kota to Indore.
What did the Chief Minister Say?
Since last one year, airplanes were being started between Udaipur and Jaipur, Bikaner and Jodhpur. Some of the air companies have been offering air services between Udaipur and Jodhpur in the past also. That way, Kota, and Bikaner have been successfully brought on the map of air for the very first time. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia said that Jaisalmer, Bhilwara, Sriganganagar, Kishangarh, and Swai Madhopur will be on the air map very soon.
The Principal Secretary of Civil Aviation PK Goyal said in an interview that Rajasthan has already road connectivity between its towns, however, due to the distance and longer time to cover the distance, there has been a demand especially for air connectivity. He further added that big air companies find flying to the most popular tourist destinations like Jodhpur and Jaisalmer not practical even in the peak seasons.
Additionally, the State government is motivating its officials to avail air service as it saves a good amount of money as well as time.
